From December 4th, FIFA 21 will also be available for the new consoles especially for PS5 and Xbox Series X / S. On the PC, however, everything stays the same. But why actually?
Many PC gamers look a bit dizzy when it comes to FIFA 21. Finally, buyers of the new PS5 and Xbox Series X / S consoles receive a noticeable, opulent graphics update on their platforms. This should also be possible on the PC, after all, it can be upgraded to your heart’s content. But: there will be no such thing! Aaron McHardy has now revealed why this is so.
The executive producer of the game commented on the subject in an interview and confirmed that the PC implementation of the football game will remain at the previous level. This is ultimately based on the PS4 and Xbox One version of the game. McHardy also gives a reason for this.
So one took a closer look at which computers the majority of the FIFA community gambled on the PC. The findings were evaluated and the result was that it was best to keep the system requirements as low as possible.
If the PC version had been raised to the level of the PS5 and XSX versions, the requirements would simply have grown too much, so that too many gamers from the FIFA community would have had to be excluded. The decision ultimately leads to the fact that the doors remain open for many PC gamers if they want to play FIFA.
EA recently presented the next-gen optimizations with a corresponding short trailer, which you can view below. Disappointed that you have to do without it on the PC?
This is bullshit. My Pc have twice the power of a ps5 and xbox series x s or what ever the name is. EA you just lost another costumer. And the excuse they gave us was to keep low end pc gamers on the game, That is the stupidest excuse they could give. Low end pc will keep playing on low settings. But of course sony and microsoft pay EA bills so fuck the rest of us.
