Final Fantasy Pixel Remaster series version of Final Fantasy 6 has now been announced by Square Enix to be coming to iOS, Android and PC in February 2022. Adding to quite a busy month already, fans of the title will be able to pick up the remastered version of the game.

The post on Steam also explains that the developer is needing some extra time to add polish to the game:
In order to bring you the best experience possible, we’re giving ourselves the necessary time to apply final polish while finishing development on the game.
Adding some extra bonuses, those who pre-purchase the game either as a standalone or as part of a bundle. These new items include Locke’s Theme soundtrack and Aria di Mezzo Carattere instrumental version. There are also new pixel remastered wallpapers featuring FFVI :

“Timelapse Remix” is a special soundtrack data that starts off with the original soundtrack version, but lets you also enjoy the reworked alternative soundtrack version as the soundtrack gradually transitions to the reworked alternative soundtrack version.
In case you missed it, the Final Fantasy Pixel Remaster series brings to life the classic games now with new graphics and audio, keeping the retro feel alive but now with an enhanced experience. The title includes Final Fantasy I-V, with Final Fantasy VI coming in February 2022, which can be purchased separately or as part of the bundle.
Final Fantasy VI was originally released in 1994, following the FF formula with dungeons, and turn-based RPG mechanics with an ATB system.
