Will French cinema finally have the right to a new blockbuster? In any case, the three musketeers seem to be on the right track.
If the first poster had anything to worry about, the very first trailer the Movie The Three Musketeers seems to have got off to a good start. It’s still too early to form an opinion, of course, but the first trailer above looks promising.
The Three Musketeers marks the return of the French blockbuster
A little bit like could have done it The Pact of the Wolves in his time or the productions of Luc Besson (whether we like it or not), The Three Musketeers seems to signify the return of the great French films. Whether that will be enough to attract the public remains to be seen. In any case, with a budget of 70 million dollars, Martin Bourboulon’s film seems to want to hit hard. In particular, we will note a large French occupation Francois Civil (D’Artagnan) Vincent Kassel (Athus), Romain Duris (Aramis), Pio Marmai (Porthos) or Eve Green (Milady).
The film should have two parts: the first part entitled The Three Musketeers : D’Artagnan (this one) and a second part entitled The Three Musketeers: My Lady. The first film, the trailer of which can be seen above, is scheduled for release on April 5, 2023.
What do you think of this first trailer? Do you think France will finally return to the top of the stage alongside the blockbusters?
