Our machines regularly have their internal program revised to correct certain errors or to make the user experience more pleasant. On this Tuesday, July 6th, 2021, the Nintendo Switch will go into a new version.

As an exception, it is not just about a general improvement in stability without any precision. Its balance is to be regarded as satisfactory for the time being, the Nintendo Switch is ascribed a small novelty with the update 12.1.0, which offers additional convenience when installing a game update.

Version 12.1.0 (released July 5, 2021)
The following system functions have been added:
- If there is insufficient space on the system memory (internal storage) or microSD card when downloading the game software update data, you can now delete the old game software data, which will allow you to download the new data.
If you delete the old data, you will not be able to play the game until the new data has finished downloading.
General system stability improvements have been made to improve the user experience.
To manually update your Nintendo Switch or Nintendo Switch Lite, if this isn’t right for you, simply go to the Console Settings menu and then the Console submenu at the bottom of the left column. There you will find the Update Console option.
Note that the Joy-Con will also be updated. Nintendo has not communicated on the fee adjustments. You will also need to go to the Console Settings and the Controllers & Sensors submenu to install.
