The new War Bond called Flame of Freedom has been announced and brings with it some much-awaited new content for helldivers. It will be released on August 8, two days after Freedom Climb, and should cost the same as its predecessors: 1,000 SuperEarth credits. But why is it so exciting? Because fire is its main theme!
He blog oficial de PlayStation reveals that Flame of Liberty will add three new weapons: two new flamethrowers, the FLAM-66 Incinerate (primary) and P-72 Scorcher (secondary), and an incendiary shotgun called the SG-451 Barbecue. It also includes the I-09 Heatblast and I-102 Dracona armor sets (including helmets and capes) with their new passive: 75% resistance to fire damage.
As for the rest of the bonus, it adds the Hellfire Capsules power-up, a themed title, emotes, character cards and titles, and skins for both the mech and the extraction ship. While all of this is well and good, we know that the real kicker is the two flamethrowers that we’re going to use to scorch the bugs.
