there has always been a certain madness and conspiracy around the Diablo franchise. The recent case of the cow level in Diablo IV is an example of where your community can go. Animals are far from easy going, as many players have begun to see that following them can be a very, very profitable activity.
The user u/zerger45 the Reddit has been responsible for uncorking a new bottle of madness and conspiracies in Diablo IV. His post urges us to follow the rats. “FOLLOW THE RATS“This is how he t itles his publication, and accompanies it with a text that could well have been written by a madman:
Okay, this is going to sound really weird, but you have to follow the rats to get some good loot. Don’t follow the default path in any dungeon, just follow the rats. Rats smell cheese! I’m telling you it’s real and I feel like I’m crazy but I found several legendaries doing this in the span of about 10 minutes. The rats will tell you which group of enemies to kill and then wander off to where you need to go! It’s real, I’m not crazy! FOLLOW THE RATS.
He is not the only crazy one, since even 8.3K users they have endorsed the post using the up arrow, a sign of approval. The first comments are confusing, but little by little it has been filled with players who have verified the theory… and have confirmed it in many cases.
He medio PCGamer has collected other two very interesting theories. The first comes from the user LuxSolisPaxwhich adds in comments: “I know most of us are kidding, but following the animals has led me to plants and resources. Following the rats doesn’t sound so ridiculous in that context.“.
The second has to do with The Butcher, the terror of players for decades in Diablo. Another user adds: “There are other things. Every time I’ve seen an NPC at the start of a dungeon, crawling around and yelling about the place being doomed and I can’t interact, the butcher shows up.
As of this writing, we only have confirmation from users in Reddit comments. Blizzard has not confirmed the denial this information, and it probably won’t happen. These stories are part of the experience and keep thousands of players hooked looking for proof and answers.
