For Ubisoft, the long-standing online action game For Honor has proven to be a success, so that the title will remain in the coming year. As has now been announced in the context of a blog entry, the title is now in its fourth year with new content; this will be called "Year of Settlement".
Accordingly, there will be further content updates for the game in 2020. As in this year, there will be four new seasons with their own themes, rewards and activities. Year 4 will also bring two new heroes and new equipment.
The focus will also be on a new reward system. Instead of a Year Pass, there will be a Season Battle Pass for the first time, which should show you clear goals. As you know from Battle Royale games, the Battle Pass will confront you with 100 levels where you can unlock items in the game. The Battle Pass is limited to customization items and consumables, so you do not necessarily have to purchase them to be able to successfully mix in the online title.
The Battle Pass will consist of a free pass and a premium pass; both offers share certain progress across the tiers. Further details are expected to follow in January 2020.
