The end of one adventure and the beginning of another

Epic Games developers have a habit of making a fuss when it comes to Fortnite. Visitors to Paris Games Week 2018 still remember the monumental stand that was set up for visitors. When it comes to making an impression, Epic is making a splash. Each end of the chapter is no exception to the rule and there is currently excitement in the community of the famous Battle Royale. This Saturday, December 4th, the event titled “The End” will bring Chapter 2, which opened in 2019, to an end to make way for new adventures that Chapter 3 brings with it.

This year, 350 million players around the world started Fortnite to be the last survivor of any confrontation, and tonight at 10 p.m., one final battle will lead players to the rest of Epic Games’ proposed adventures. We can read on Epic’s official website:

What will happen?

The site explains that we need to team up with our friends and players from all over the world “to ward off the stigma of detours”, the “La Fin welcomes large teams (up to 16 players)” and that it is better to connect “Early enough, as the end mode in Fortnite will be activated 30 minutes before the start of the event”.

It is also stated that “Content creators and players looking to relive the final moments of Fortnite Chapter 2 should record and archive their experiences as reruns are not available.In addition, it is explained that after the start of The End it is no longer possible to change the parameters “Since the season ends one day before the announced date, all players who log in before the end of the season will receive a reward of 225,000 XP points.” and that those who take part in the battle against Queen Cube of this event will receive a loading screen and an ornament.
This passage to Chapter 3 also marks the arrival of Unreal Engine 5, which greatly improves the graphics and should brilliantly carry the innovations that will no doubt be in the game.
