Fortnite seems to introduce new experiences soon.
Fort night It looks like it is ready to use the upcoming Daybreak mode to surpass the Battle Royale. In today’s v16.40 patch, data mining was performed on the files of the new mode.
According to Fortnite Intel, Daybreak is a limited-time mode that provides an exclusive umbrella for the player’s first victory. Although the documents themselves do not reveal much, they do confirm that Daybreak will have NPCs and monsters/predators for players to fight.
The main task appears to be repairing the helicopter and fleeing the island. The island actually leaked earlier this month, thanks to the famous leaker Hypex. In a document provided by Epic Games in its trial with Apple, Daybreak described Daybreak as an “open world simulation sandbox mode”, which shows that it is not limited to this LTM.
According to Epic Games’ “Designated Exhibition Documents”, the map I posted on Twitter a week ago is clearly aimed at the open world simulation sandbox mode! pic.twitter.com/pS0uKbocTQ

The idea is that some of the mechanics introduced in Chapter 2 and Season 6 (such as crafting and hunting) will play a role in Daybreak.
Epic will surpass “Battle Royale” and provide us with an open world simulation sandbox, which may replace the “Battle Lab” next season.

Considering that its files are added with the new patch, this mode may come soon. Hope this means that a proper announcement is near.
