A gigantic 1 year anniversary update
To celebrate its first anniversary since its release on PC and Xbox Series, Forza Motorsport has been gifted with a major update. Firstthree new free Mustangs will be available to players, plus there’s a surprise for Car Pass holders. On board you have the opportunity to test the brand new Drift mode. In this mode you can perform drifts and your results are based on speed, angle and duration. This new option will be available in Free Play mode or Private Multiplayer mode and will be eligible for competitive leaderboards.
To test your driving skills, this new update is also a great gift for early fans by reintroducing the Sunset Peninsula track, which has been left out since Forza Motorsport 4. Of course, this update is also accompanied by a large number of bug fixes and technical improvements, especially for the penalty system with Forza Race Regulations (FRR) or graphics optimization.
“Now individual violations of the Forza racing rules will be punished with maximum penalties depending on the severity of the collision, reducing the cases in which players were previously over-punished,” specifies the official website. Forza Motorsport Update 13 is available for download from Monday, October 14th on Xbox Series X|S and PC via the Microsoft Store and Steam. Featured cars and new events will begin Wednesday, October 16th from 5:00 p.m. Many players are already convinced by these new features and claim that the game has changed so much that it is now unfair to compare it with Gran Turismo 7
