Assassin’s Creed: Odyssey – Test video: Huge open world, huge fun?
Release: 05. October 2018 | Developer: Ubisoft Quebec | Im Game Pass ab: 15. September 2022
The Assassin’s Creed series undertook a playful restart with Origins, which was then continued with Odyssey. The story even takes place before the events of the predecessor, because you are mainly traveling in ancient Greece and are not controlling a real assassin.
Instead, at the beginning of the game you slip into the skin of either Kassandra or Alexios, both of whom see themselves as conventional mercenaries. Gradually, however, you walk on the original paths of the later Assassin order, but until then you have to invest a lot of playing time. Assassin’s Creed: Odyssey is a real action role-playing game including numerous side quests, dialogue options and of course the hunt for ever better equipment.
In addition, there is also again as once in Assassin’s Creed 4: Black Flag Naval battles and the huge open world offer one or two secrets. In other words, if you choose Odyssey, you’re likely to work up to 100 hours or more.
By the way, Ubisoft recently revealed in a live stream how Assassin’s Creed will continue:
