Frostpunk 2 has only been available for a few days and there is already good news: the game is selling well for an indie and has already recouped its costs.
There are still successes and good news. The end-time strategy game Frostpunk 2 apparently had a really good start. As 11-bit Studios announced, 350,000 copies of the game have already been sold, which is not exactly a small number for the genre and the game, which is by no means unblockable.
But it gets even better, because the developers also confirm that Frostpunk 2 has already recouped the costs for development and marketing and that every cent can now go into the developers’ piggy bank to finance future projects.
Of course, that doesn’t mean that the developers are now taking a break, as they are continuing to work on the game. “The work doesn’t stop here, we are constantly working on improving your experience with hotfixes and patches, and your feedback is invaluable,” is a clear statement.

And there is still a lot to do. With 71 percent positive user reviews on Steam, the title is certainly not yet where the developers would like it to be. So the current task is probably to collect data and iron out errors before possibly moving on to further revisions.
Apart from that, 11-bit Studios also has other things to do, as The Alters is another exciting title in a completely different genre, coming out later this year.
