The Galaxy S24 series will be unveiled in a few weeks. A lot is now known about the technical data of the new Samsung smartphones, but the leaks disagreed on one point: How much will the Galaxy S24 and the Plus and Ultra versions cost?
So far there has only been supposed information from a South Korean news portal, according to which the RRP of the Galaxy S24 will remain identical to its predecessor.
Another leak now contradicts this: Like the blog, which is considered more reliable in terms of advance information GalaxyClub
As a result, at least the Euro prices of the Galaxy S24 and Galaxy S24+ will be slightly cheaper than the previous generation, while the Galaxy S24 Ultra will be slightly more expensive in the case of the 256 GB version.
The adjustment runs through all storage variations and, according to Galaxy Club, is as follows:
Galaxy S24 | Galaxy S24 Plus | Galaxy S24 Ultra | |
128 GB | 899 Euro | – | |
256 GB | 959 Euro | 1.149 Euro | 1.449 Euro |
512 GB | – | 1.269 Euro | 1.569 Euro |
1 TByte | – | – | 1.809 Euro |
If this leak is true, both the regular and the Plus model of the Galaxy S24 would be around 50 to 60 dollars cheaper. The Galaxy S24 Ultra with 256 GB, on the other hand, would also have gone up by 50 dollars, while the variant with twice the storage gets a virtually identical price tag.
It is at least obvious that the S24 Ultra version mentioned will be more expensive: After all, according to the current status, it has been given 12 GB of RAM; the predecessor only had 8 GB of RAM (with 256 GB of memory).
It would also be fitting that Samsung hardly makes any significant price adjustments to the 512 GB version of the Galaxy S24 Ultra, after all it had integrated the same 12 GB of RAM last year.
The prices mentioned should also apply to Europey: Although GalaxyClub, as a Dutch portal, is oriented towards the Benelux countries, the RRP between the two regions differs at most slightly due to taxes.
Samsung will largely make its flagship series around the Galaxy S24 cheaper – but is the price reduction enough for you or are the smartphones still too expensive for your taste?
