And now this: Like the US industry magazine Variety learned from inside sources HBO another “Game of Thrones” spin-off. The project is still at an early stage and neither authors nor actors for the GoT offshoot have been determined so far.
But it is already certain that for the as yet untitled offshoot George RR Martin’s book “The Hedge Knight of Westeros: The Judgment of the Seven” (Original title: “Tales of Dunk and Egg”) is adapted.
This is what “The Hedge Knight of Westeros: The Judgment of the Seven” is about
90 years before the events of “Game of Thrones”, Ser Duncan the Great and his squire, who later became King Aegon V. Targaryen, travel through Westeros, take part in tournaments and experience knightly adventures. “The Hedge Knight of Westeros: The Judgment of the Seven” brings together 3 stories written by George RR Martin between 1998 and 2010.
As Variety reports, the premium cable channel HBO gives the project high priority. Two years after the end of the mega series “Game of Thrones”, viewers and fans are thirsting for a return to Westeros – and in addition to the first offshoot “House of the Dragon”, which is already in production, there is a lot to be offered here in the future .
For “House of the Dragon”, HBO recently showed 1. pictures on which the dragons of the Targaryen series can be seen for the first time.
