Genshin Impact 3.6 just wrapped up a livestream of the latest update – Parade of Providence! That means we just learned about all the new story content, new bosses, new events, and of course, this new pair of characters: Bamboo and Kawa!

Genshin 3.6 New Characters: Baizhu and Kaveh
Baizhu is a five-star Dendro character that has been in-game for years, but is finally playable in Genshin Impact 3.6. They use Catalyst as a weapon, available in the updated Phase 2 character banner. Atractylodes heals active personalities when you interact with herbs in the world. They are healers, controlling spirits who can both heal and inflict damage.
After white bamboo, we have Carvey! They are four-star Dendro characters. They also use Catalyst, a character that players have only recently encountered in the game, and a contender for the Phase 2 character banner. He passively reduces costs when crafting furniture for your teapot, but can also blast Dendro cores in command battles! They can also summon a sword to deal melee damage–making them powerful damage carriers.

Genshin 3.6 New Weapons and Artifact Sets
Genshin Impact 3.6 brings a new 5-star catalyst: Jadefall’s Splendor! Chances are this is perfect for the Baizhu, so be sure to grab it if you want them in your home team!
Additionally, we got two new artifact sets in this update. all these are:
Nymph’s Dream
- 2-Piece Set: Water Damage +15%
- 4-piece set: Normal attack, charged attack, dive attack, elemental skill, and elemental burst hit the opponent, triggering 1 layer of mirror fairy, lasting for 8 seconds. Under the effects of 1, 2, 3 or more layers, the attack power is greatly increased by 7% / 16% / 25%, and the water damage bonus is increased by 4% / 9% / 15%. Mirrored Nymph Stacks are created from Basic Attacks, Charged Attacks, Dive Attacks, Elemental Abilities, and Elemental Bursts, and exist independently.
Light of Volukasha
- 2-piece set: HP + 20%
- 4-piece set: Increases the damage of Elemental Skills and Elemental Burst by 10%. After the equipped character takes damage, the above damage bonus increases by 80% for 5 seconds. The effect can be increased by five layers. The duration of each stack is calculated independently. These effects can be triggered even if the equipped character is not on the field.

Genshin 3.6 New Areas, Enemies and Bosses
A major part of Genshin Impact 3.6 is the introduction of a new part of the Sumeru desert, a place where the gods fought off the abyss so many years ago, and terrifying new enemies can be found even today.
There, you’ll find two new bosses. The first is Iniquitus Baptist, an abyssal world boss that you can use resin against. And the Dendro dragon! This three-phase battle is pivotal to the story for the update, and should serve as the finale to the epic battle in the region, and a key part of Genshin’s continuation of the narrative.
You’ll also find new enemies roaming the wilds: Anemo and Hydro Hillichurl Rogues! These are powerful one-man fighters that you have to watch out for.

Genshin 3.6 Main Event: Academia Extravaganza
The academic event is the highlight! It features six returning characters and various mini-games such as forging a path with limited resources and other puzzles. There’s also exploration, stories and quizzes, battle tracks, and more.
At the end of the event, one of the six characters representing their particular school will be chosen as the champion. So hang in there and find out which school is the best!
