During the Summer Game Fest 2023 live stream, SEGA and Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio announced the Like a Dragon: The Man Who Erased His Name.
You’ll be able to pick up the action-adventure fighting game on November 9 for $49.99. Along with the release date, a new trailer has also been released. Give it a watch below.
The game tells the story of Kazuma Kiryu, codenamed Joryu. Once a legendary gangster, he faked his death to protect his family and gave up his name. Now, he’s drawn into a conflict with a mysterious figure who tries to drive him out of his hideout.
As you explore and enjoy Sotenbori and Yokohama, you’ll take part in side quests that will lead you into an epic showdown that will unfold as you explore more. You will experience earth-shattering battles, meet interesting characters, and participate in more interesting activities.
While fighting, the game allows you to dynamically switch between Yakuza and Agent fighting styles. Using Yakuza style, you can unleash aggressive moves powered by Kiryu’s strength and flair. Agent style strikes with sheer speed and precision, as you use an array of high-tech contraptions, such as electrified bondage wires, to stun enemies before knocking them into the air.
For entertainment, you can brawl in the secret Battle Arena, sing a new karaoke song, grab a drink at the live cabaret club, or even join the pocket circuit if you need to unwind.
If you’re interested in the game, you can pre-order it and get access to the Legendary Fighter Pack, which introduces the following gangsters to face off in the battle arena: Goro Mashima, Taiga Saejima, and Daigo Dojima.
After release, the game will be available on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S.
