The PS4 hit Ghost of Tsushima could be announced as a native PS5 game in the foreseeable future – then possibly with fresh content. An age rating could already have given away.
An official announcement is still pending, but it would be anything but a surprise if the PS4 hit Ghost of Tsushima would not come as a natively optimized version on the PlayStation 5. The same now suggests an age classification by the American ESRB
The director’s cut of Ghost of Tsushima, which has not yet been confirmed, has now been classified there – for PS4 and PS5. Neither Sucker Punch nor Sony PlayStation have commented on such a new game version to date.
Although the PS4 version of Ghost of Tsushima can also be played on the PS5 and thanks to Game Boost it already benefits from optimizations, for example faster loading times or 60 fps, a native game version should go much further in this regard.
A director’s cut should also contain the multiplayer expansion Legends published months after the original release, but it could also offer further purchase incentives. Recently there were rumors on the net about an independent expansion called Ghosts of Ikishima. According to the well-known insider Shpeshal_Nick, co-founder of XboxEra.com, this is a new, but much shorter adventure that can be compared with Uncharted: Lost Legacy or Spider-Man: Miles Morales. This could be included in a Director’s Cut if all rumors are confirmed.
