Ghost of Tsushima was recently one of the biggest PlayStation exclusives – and that is also reflected in the sales figures. The makers could now announce the achievement of another million mark.
Developer Sucker Punch has confirmed that the samurai epic Ghost of Tsushima, which was originally published in 2020, is still on the road to success. Accordingly, the action title, which has meanwhile also been published in an optimized form for the PS5, was able to crack the next million mark.
The original game released in 2020 and the Director’s Cut for PS5 and PS4 released in 2021 have now sold more than 8 million times according to official figures – a good value for a title exclusively available on PlayStation. The makers are correspondingly satisfied in their statement.
“We would like to thank everyone who has played the game since the launch! We are so incredibly grateful for the support,” said the creators on Twitter.
Last year, the Director’s Cut also brought with it an expansion with new game content. You ended up on Iki Island. You can read our Ghost of Tsushima Review of the Director’s Cut again if you are interested.
