Uncharted

Naughty Dog has been on the rise lately. After Uncharted, it’s up to another of the studio’s franchises to experience the joys of adaptation, this time in series. A series that, in contrast to the film Uncharted, should experience a less turbulent development that doesn’t seem very complicated … even if the customization options are sometimes impenetrable. The Last of Us series, announced in 2020, will be produced for HBO. It wouldn’t be surprising if it aired on HBO Max at an as-yet-unknown time. She is supervised by Johan Renck, the director of the hit series Chernobyl. Good news then. Then the fans can be reassured. The script is entrusted to Neil Druckmann, who does not need to present it, and Craig Mazin … the screenwriter on Chernobyl.

To interpret the main roles, namely Joel and Ellie, the production has offered the services of Pedro Pascal, also known as The Mandalorian, and Bella Ramsey, an actress who has appeared on the Game of Thrones series. If the script largely follows the game from which it is inspired with certain dialogues, other scenes should be very different from the original ones. HBO wants to focus on the drama and focus on the characters … just to offer a different perspective on a story we know all too well.

Spirit of Tsushima
