Actor Christopher Judge, who voiced Kratos in “God of War” (2018), will voice Black Panther in the upcoming Marvel Avengers expansion pack.
Stargate actor will voice King Techara Marvel Avengers Expanding Panthers: Battle of Wakanda.
At first, Judge was not interested in dubbing the role, because after the death of Panther star Chadwick Bosman, he “don’t believe anyone should play Techara again.”
“The actual conversation took place, and basically, I did it in the end because my mother and my children said that if I didn’t do it, they would sever relationship with me,” he told Entertainment Weekly.
“To be honest, I’m afraid of being compared to Chadwick’s outstanding performance. The only way I can really understand it is to not even try voice matching and let my performance stand on its own. I put all this in, hope people like it.”
According to the EW article, we can expect that DLC will occur about five years after the A-Day event, which will have a “ripple effect” in Wakanda, which will see the Panthers defend the country from Krau who tries to steal Vibranium.
A new single player campaign will be added to the content. The campaign will last about 25 hours. You can expect two opponents and a “strong Wakanda lineup”. Locations such as Shuri’s laboratory and Wakandan war room will be included in the new missions in the Drop Zone and Threat Zone.
You can look forward to the content including the Wakandan jungle biome, new enemies of the Klau faction, and more.
In addition to the expansion this summer, you can also look forward to new hero costumes, an increase in the power level cap and a new outpost.
Marvel’s Avengers will be expanded in August, but the specific release date has not yet been determined.
