God of War is now launching a crowdfunding campaign for a board game. There is a matching trailer that shows directly how closely it is based on the original. It tells the story between Kratos and Atreos after the end of 2018’s God of War, but before Ragnarok. Before each round you have to choose a mission, as well as monsters and a final boss, all of which act uniquely. This should ensure a high replay value. According to current plans, the board game is scheduled to be delivered to Backer in June 2025.
