There are tons of games to play almost every day, and it would be easy to understand long if the almost old (four years counts as old) God of War story didn’t stick in your mind either. Thankfully, on the PlayStation Blog, we got a recap, complete with a video of the Midgard mythology narrated by actress Felicia Day.
Blog posts are pretty much your standard retrospective event. If you forget, it will remind you who Krato is, and his son Atreus, also known as the Capital B Boy. To go along with the important plot beats, you have some screenshots to help visualize everything, but a better way to re-acquaint yourself with the story is with a video.
It’s presented in the form of an animated storybook, taking snippets from the game and turning them into an admittedly very cute drawing style. Day has some classic rhyming moves paired with visuals, and overall it’s a really fun way to catch up on anything you might have missed or remember from the first game.
God of War: Ragnarok Its release date, November 9, was finally set last month after many fans worried it would be delayed until 2023. As long as there are no last-minute changes, that’s also a good thing, as the rest of the year looks a bit sparse in AAA territory.
It looks like it will also have a good set of accessibility features going forward, with over 60 options available, including controller remapping, subtitle size for subtitles, and navigation assist modes.
