For several months, Dark Souls players have not been able to properly enjoy their games. Bandai Namco has finally started to solve this problem for one episode.
Despite the promise that Dark Souls Trilogy PC servers would return, nothing happened. And quite a surprise, because the publisher has partially contained the problem and we’re moving on.
Dark Souls 3 PC servers restored
According to Bandai Namco’s announcements, the Dark Souls 3 PC servers have been up and running for a few hours. But as expected, those of the first DS of the name and Dark Souls 2 won’t be restored until later.
We are currently in the process of bringing the DS franchise online servers to PC and Plan to gradually restore online services for each game and restore for DS3 when we have done the work needed to fix the issue. We will keep you informed of the restoration schedule. We thank all players for their patience and understanding.
When ? The information has not yet been shared by the publisher. The servers were originally shut down prior to the release of Elden Ring due to a security breach. By infiltrating players’ games, some users might steal personal information and install viruses or unwanted applications.
Let’s hope that the smart guys don’t find another weak point that they exploit to the detriment of the players.
