This comes as a surprise: after Google recently confirmed five new additions to the game streaming service Stadia, a few days later, the next four titles were announced.
Another franchise will enrich the game streaming service in the future, which is well known to connoisseurs of the video game industry. We are talking about the SteamWorld series, which does not have the biggest name, but has a very good reputation among indie fans.
As has been confirmed in a press email, all four parts of the Image & Form game series will also be available on Stadia in the future. Thunderful Publishing is responsible for sales.
SteamWorld Dig and SteamWorld Dig 2 are action adventures with Metroidvania influences. These take you into an underground world with numerous opponents, traps and treasures.
SteamWorld Heist, on the other hand, is in the genre of turn-based strategy games and receives a procedurally generated level with skill-based gameplay. You take over as captain of a robotic pirate gang and have to defeat enemies and hijack ships.
Finally, there is SteamWorld Quest: Hand of Gilgamech, a card game with more than 100 hand-drawn cards that also uses RPG elements. A positive side note: SteamWorld Dig 2 and the last-mentioned card game are included in your subscription free of charge for Pro subscribers from Stadia from the launch.
