The Google Pixel 7a will hit the market in a few weeks, likely on May 10th at Google I/O 2023.
The new phone is the direct successor to the Pixel 6a. The smartphone has one of the best price-performance ratios of all current devices.

Better components could explain the price increase
According to the report, the Google Pixel 7a will be around 500 Euro cost, i.e. 50 dollars more than last year’s model. Although the a-series of Pixel smartphones is known for its cheap price, this price increase does not come as a surprise.
The increased cost is most likely due to the upgraded components, such as the 90Hz display, 64MP main camera, wireless charging, and Tensor G2 processor. In addition, Google is not skimping on RAM and will install 8 gigabytes of LPDDR5 RAM.
Good news: Google won’t be retiring the Pixel 6a and making it available for purchase at the same time – at a reduced price. It is not yet known how low the new price will be.
Despite the slightly higher price, the Google Pixel 7a still seems to be a very good value phone. Loud Jon Prosser the cell phone will be available to order immediately after the Google presentation.
