Rockstar Games never tires of emphasizing that GTA 6 will actually be released in 2025 as planned. But the industry sees it a little differently, so there have been repeated rumors about a postponement. Now an actor has even commented on the topic.
The year 2025 will certainly be dominated by one release: Grand Theft Auto VI. After all, there are already reports that numerous studios are struggling to announce their release dates in order to avoid the potential open-world hit from Rockstar Games.

However, in the past there have been repeated reports that the release will be postponed. However, the development studio itself is sticking to the fact that we can travel to Vice City next year.
However, new doubts about this are now being cast by a statement from actor Johnny Ray Gill. He has already worked on GTA 5 and Red Dead Redemption 2, each as a voice actor for the inhabitants of the respective game world.
In one Interview In any case, he talked about his role in GTA 5 and added that he would be involved in “another situation in the world”. Of course, he doesn't name any specific names, probably because Rockstar Games made him sign an NDA.
What is now alarming the community is the subsequent statement that the project will be published in “2025 or 2026”. Of course, we don't know 100 percent that it's GTA 6, but the suspicion is obvious. We can therefore remain curious to see whether the title will actually appear in autumn 2025. The renowned journalist Jason Schreier also had doubts about the date.
Apart from the incredibly successful first trailer from December 2023, Rockstar Games is keeping a low profile when it comes to Grand Theft Auto VI. The fans are correspondingly jittery, especially since many were expecting a fresh video at the Game Awards 2024, which as we know didn't exist.
Rockstar Games has released the first trailer for Grand Theft Auto VI earlier than originally planned.
