The series The Last of Us will be in good shape for a second season, and even if it is canceled all is not black yet. On the contrary, since Craig Mazin, the big boss behind the series, a lot will happen. The man actually confirms everything that’s been said for a while and reassures us with good news about the show.
Unless you live in a cave, anyone with even the slightest interest in movies and shows knows there’s a major strike going on. Originally, it was the writers who raised their feathers in protest. The latter want no more and no less than enforcing their rights and upgrading their work. A fair cause that has wreaked havoc on productions on the small and big screen. Several series such as The last of usThey’re standing still, the big films are being postponed, especially at Marvel, it’s a festival.
Not so long ago, the actors went on strike too, here too, to assert their rights and enhance their work. If we tend to think that every actor makes millions of dollars and everyone lives affluently, the ultrastars are just the tiniest tip of a huge iceberg of actors who can’t make ends meet and feel exploited just like writers.
Season 2 of The Last of Us is going very well
Either way, it is becoming increasingly difficult for the industry and projects fail or are postponed The last of us seems to be one of the few exceptions. In the columns of meetingCraig Mazin, one of the fathers of the series, claimed that despite the second season’s hiatus, the series should currently be on hiatus and the series should come out on schedule. He also announces that the first episode was written before the artists’ strike broke out. Season 2 will of course deal with The Last of Us Part 2, the successful sequel that has also been talked about lately as it could return in the form of a remaster.
So the fans know what will happen in the next season. We won’t say anything here to avoid spoilers, but Mazin claims so anyway “Even the spectators who played the game will be surprised”
Finally, the showrunner once again claimed that there would be many more infected people than in the first season, more than in the fifth episode itself (no spoilers, no spoilers). A piece of news that should please anyone who was disappointed not to encounter as many disgusting creatures as hoped. Anyway, season 2 promises to be huge, but not only that.
Season 3 guaranteed! Unless…
Obviously Craig Mazin is seeing big things in this new season as he is joined by two new minds namely Halley Gross and Bo Shim. Halley Gross, a former actress and talented screenwriter who notably lent her pen to the series West World. Among us gamers, she is best known as a co-author The Last of Us Part 2. It’s going pretty well. Bo Shim is known for his work on Sea Fog and Memories of Murder.
Two other talents who will complete the team to prepare Ellie and Joel’s new journey alongside Craig Mazin and Neil Druckmann. A new story that promises to be rich as it won’t end with the second season. The creator has indeed confirmed that a third season is planned and the story of will continue The Last of Us Part 2. The only thing that could prevent the arrival of this new season would be that the audience would tire and the series would simply be canceled by HBO. But given the records the first film set and the incredible number of nominations and awards it garnered, that would be surprising.
