Rocksteady Studios (Batman Arkham) makes a big announcement about their upcoming game Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League and releases a new trailer as a bonus. The players were heard.
With Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, there’s a lot of pressure on Rocksteady Studios’ shoulders. It will now be eight years since the teams released anything, since the end of the Batman Arkham trilogy, and fans of the developers can’t wait to see what they’ve been cooking up all these years. But the announcement has cooled some, particularly in one very specific aspect.
Rocksteady is listening to solo players for their Suicide Squad game
From the first gameplay trailer, the tone was set. Unlike Batman Arkham, Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice will be a service game. A title that can be played in co-op, where everyone can play an anti-hero of this completely crazy gang, but which is also intended for loners. The campaign can actually be completed alone in your corner, with the ability to change the characters to your liking. The problem that has annoyed more than one player is that the game requires an internet connection even in solo mode.
“An internet connection is required to play Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League alone or in online co-op.” Could we read the FAQ of the software? A practice that is relatively hated in the community, but surprisingly the studio has backed down. Rocksteady promises an offline single player mode… but not at launch. This will be an option available in 2024.
In addition to our latest trailer for Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, we have more news for you. We are pleased to confirm that we plan to implement an offline story mode. This allows players to experience the main campaign without an internet connection. This addition will come with an update in 2024. More details will be shared once it is ready.

Flash, Superman, Wonder Woman and Green Lantern are revealed
This is the nice announcement that will come as a relief to some: Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League no longer requires an internet connection. On the other hand, you have to wait a few weeks (months?) before you can benefit from it. In the new trailer “no more heroes” When broadcasting at the Game Awards 2023, Rocksteady put the focus on the villains. Because in case the title isn’t descriptive enough: the goal is to kill the members of the Justice League one by one in order to save the world. For almost two minutes we have snippets of confrontations with Green Lantern, Flash and Wonder Woman attacking poor King Shark. An electric trailer that highlights the dynamics of the fights.
DC fans should remember that Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League has a nice surprise in store. Anyone who pre-orders the game can benefit from iconic classic outfits.
