Developer Codemasters had promised a live stream with fresh information – and now they are there too. Not only was the first gameplay presented, the release date has now also been set.
Codemasters and EA have announced fresh information about the upcoming racing game GRID Legends in a presentation. First and foremost, this includes the specific release date: On February 25, 2022, the GRID Legends, which was previously planned for the coming year, will start.
The action-packed racing game should offer you a large selection of game modes right from the start. Among other things, there will be an extensive career mode with over 250 events. This is joined by the story mode “Driven to Glory”, the return of the drift and elimination races and the new electric boost races.
There are over 100 vehicles that you can get behind the wheel of. There are also classic routes in well-known locations around the globe and a cross-platform multiplayer that can be reached in seconds thanks to the new hop-in feature.
With the new Race Creator you can organize multi-class matches according to your wishes, in which different vehicle types meet. The aim is to create unique racing moments in every race, which can be further personalized by changing the weather conditions and the time of day as well as adding ramps or boost portals.
Pre-orderers receive the “Seneca & Ravenwest double pack”. The content will be available on launch day and unlock four additional vehicles for career events: Aston Martin Vantage GT4, Porsche 962C, Ginetta G55 GT4 and Koenigsegg Jesko. In addition, the package includes exclusive Ravenwest career events as well as exclusive Seneca and Ravenwest team icons, liveries and banners that can be used to customize the vehicles and display them online.
GRID Legends will be released on February 25, 2022 for Xbox Series X / S, Xbox One, PS5, PS4 and PC (Origin, Steam).
