GTA 5 continues to be planned for autumn 2025
As far as the good news, the bad: Anyone who hoped for more information about the new rock star game or even a second trailer was disappointed. Take-Two made no announcements in the conference. Likewise, no further ports, such as for the PC or the Nintendo Switch 2, were announced.
GTA 6 will initially only appear for PS5, Xbox Series S and the Series X. A PC version is still likely, but it should only appear similar to GTA 5 months later.
And even the hope of a Switch 2 port does not have to give up fans. At the conference, Take-Two said that the Switch platform was generally wanted to support games. On February 11th, for example, Sid Meier's Civilization VII will be released for the original switch. It remains to be seen whether GTA 6 or another GTA part will be implemented for the Nintendo console in the future.
