Before Christmas, Rockstar Games is giving its long-running GTA Online a new story with “The Contract”. We’ll tell you what to expect here.
Rockstar Games announced a completely new story for GTA Online today. Particularly noteworthy: Franklin Clinton, the protagonist from Grand Theft Auto V, is returning. You have to help Franklin set up his new security agency and sign his first major client: Dr. Dre.
The new agency is called F. Clinton and Partner and is part of the Celebrity Solutions agency, which provides Vinewood’s elite solutions to elite problems. Franklin is only missing two things: a trustworthy business partner and a prominent customer. Your old friend Lamar Davis, who has recently started working in the weed business, introduces you and thus lays the foundation for a partnership that will guarantee the agency’s success.
Across town, DJ Pooh contacted Franklin about a potential client: his old friend, Dr. Dre. After losing it on the way to Cayo Perico last year, it turns out that Dr. Dr’s phone didn’t just go missing – it got into the wrong hands. Not only that, it also contains some of the hottest content in town, including new and unreleased music from Dr. Dre.
A wild chase awaits you through Los Santos, from the streets of Fanklin’s old hood to the hippest parties in town and from luxurious villas to the offices of the FIB.
“The Contract” will be playable from December 15th in GTA Online; further details will be announced in the coming days via Rockstar Newswire. Then you will also get new information about a versatile new radio station with special guest DJs as well as major updates for existing stations with unreleased songs by Dr. Dre and other top artists donated.
