The interviewer rightly points out that the (implied) massacre of the younglings at the Jedi Temple on Coruscant is probably one of the strongest moments in the movie, and even if we’d been getting something like this, Disney probably wouldn’t have done it. They were just happy to see Anakin.”
However, he did feel bad about having to scare the child actors into a bit of a surprise before filming the scene: “When we were filming the scene, we were having a hard time getting the reaction we wanted from the kids. So I yelled at him, Or growl, because we needed a moment where he was really frightened. It got the response we needed, which made that scene very effective.” In fact, the scariest moment of the movie that really sells it is when Anakin (Darth The little “jump” a child makes when Vader ignites his lightsaber. Still, it’s fun to imagine Christensen freaking out a bunch of kids before the cameras start rolling again.
