Gaming News He plays John Wick in Red Dead Redemption 2 for an anthology video game sequence!
Iconic music, an anthology gameplay sequence and the magic happens. A videographer had the brilliant idea of combining the best of John Wick and Red Dead Redemption II to the delight of fans.
The meeting of two giants
On one side we find John Wick. With the fourth installment hitting theaters around the world, the Keanu Reeves-led action saga has little to prove. The producers’ very good idea was to entrust the production to former stuntmen (Chad Stahelski and David Leitch for the first work, before Chad Stahelski did it alone for the sequel), who immediately knew how to breathe a hair-raising innovative style into the franchise.
On the other side is Red Dead Redemption 2Rockstar’s latest game and second installment of the license set in the American Wild West, where bullets fly faster than words.
A franchise beloved by players that offers an unprecedented sense of freedom and a fun experience on all levels, Red Dead Redemption is now one of those reference open worlds, both in content and form. And so it is in his field with John Wick, who acts as the true benchmark of the genre. So when these two monsters meet, you can only get good.
John Wick invites you to Far West
On Youtube, a videographer had fun connecting John Wick and Red Dead Redemption II in the simplest possible way. It only took a little editing to stick the LED spiral music from the soundtrack of the first John Wick film onto Red Dead Redemption II’s gameplay footage for a convincing result.
Thus, the video available above presents us with an impressive cowboy demonstrating his unfailing efficiency in eliminating the enemies that stand in his way. Gunshots, melee and knife stabs and spectacular acrobatics… this sequence clearly has John Wick in it and makes you want to restart the attack on RDR2 or dip back into the films of the famous assassin.
