Late last year, Hyoung Nam, senior concept artist for Naughty Dog, posted on his site Artstationon which he published many (sublime) images of The Last of Us Part II, illustrations that are of great interest today. These are three conceptual arts that are grouped under the name “Les Femmes du Nord”.
No saleswomen in a french fries hut, FC Lens supporters or Maroilles cake eaters. No, we discover three beautifully drawn women (see our gallery below) in a universe that is quite far from ours: The first is a war that sits on the dragon’s corpse, which it apparently just killed. The second, who seems to like bone, isn’t far from making us think of a ncromancer. In relation to the last one whose green eyes seem to meet us, we could speculate about a dancer or a thief.
