Helldivers 2: After harsh criticism: More Killzone content for free

Killzone returned as part of a cross-over campaign in Helldivers 2 – but there was also criticism in this context. That's why the developers of the shooter are now reacting!

Long-time shooter fans had reason to be happy when the classic Killzone series celebrated a small comeback – namely in the form of a cross-over in the very popular Helldivers 2. However, this campaign resulted in a lot of criticism of the developers because of the pricing Killzone items in the game were found by many gamers to be quite cheeky and expensive. Now the v. are reacting.

The studio, together with Guerrilla Games, the developers of the Killzone series, published a joint statement on the situation and criticism. This states that the community feedback has been noticed and changes have been noted.

“Since this was our first cross-over offering, we've been listening to your feedback; from the feedback from our community surveys, cross-over content is really high on wish lists. At the same time, some of you aren't exactly happy with the prices of the items and we will take another look at it.”

And further: “Due to these circumstances, we have decided, in collaboration with our friends at Guerrilla, to offer a gift to all players. Therefore, we will be offering everyone the planned second wave of collaboration items from Helldivers x Killzone free of charge. Distribution of these items will take place shortly to be done in two waves.”

As part of this, you will receive the AC-2 Obedient armor set, the PLAS-39 Accelerator Rifle, the StA-11 SMG, the Cape Defender of our Dream and the Banner Defender of our Dream.
