The Galaxy War in Helldivers 2 may have stopped temporarily – at least from the main target point of view, this is the second time back online in weeks. The game's latest major order seems to be suddenly pulled up, and the arrow confirmed that it is investigating another backend error that affects things.
However, unlike late February’s bug fixes that require in-game conflict intervention, this time the studio does not seem to confirm that it has properly paused the Galaxy War while working on the now-deployed solution.

So, what's going on? Well, yesterday at noon on March 9, Helldivers 2 community manager Kathgerine “Baskinator” Baskin announced through Discord that the game’s developers have uncovered the issues they need to research.
The post reads: “We know the backend errors that affect the contribution of the Galaxy War and we are investigating! We will notify players immediately after there is more information about this situation! Thank you for your patience.”
Despite not mentioning any suspensions of Galaxy War, the players are terrified as the game's latest major orders appear to pop up before running the full route. The order was only released on Friday, March 7, with four days and 23 hours left when the arrow released the screenshot when it announced its target.
However, this is good news – now everything is backed up, the order is backed up to the player's screen, with three days and nine hours left. “We’re back,” Miitchimus, junior community manager for Helldivers 2, wrote in a new discord announcement: “The Galaxy War has erupted again. Thank you for your patience during this time.”
So, you went. iGamesNews has approached Arrowhead and tried to get information about what happened to this particular war breakdown and whether the conflict was paused like last time.
