It has been a long time since we helldivers dreamed of one of the most desired mechas: the Exo-49 Emancipator Exosuit. The leaks allowed us to see the power of this beauty and since then we wanted Arrowhead Game Studios to activate the Supreme Order of Helldivers 2 to unlock it… and that was the case last Friday.
Forget the old Exo-45 Patriot Exosuit. It was fun as the first mecha, but it’s no secret that it didn’t take us helldivers two weeks to put it in the warehouse. While effective, it lacked the firepower we’re all looking for in a metal beast we earned after our victory over the weekend.

I have devoured The Rogue Prince of Persia from top to bottom and I confirm it: the resurrection of the saga is real, but it needs more fuel for the fire
Now, the Exo-49 Emancipator Exosuit is here to make all our fantasies come true. As we mentioned, it has two automatic cannons (the same as the ones we can carry with its backpack) in each arm and 75 projectiles in each one. There are a total of 150 shots of pure democracy. Its price is 20,000 medals, something ridiculous if you have been playing for a while.
We have tested the Exo-49 and it is definitely on another level compared to the Exo-45. Its prec ision up close is disastrous, but just move away a few meters to see its destructive power. Furthermore, its scope is meaningless. You can destroy propaganda antennas and tree-shaped nests of Terminids from very far away. Also nests and robot factories. Everything points to a nerf in the amount of ammunition, although we hope that this is not the case after the change of direction of the study regarding weapon swings and stratagems.
In iGamesNews | I’ve seen Helldivers 2’s Automata front become a “nobody wants to touch our worlds” problem, and it’s for good reason.
In iGamesNews | I have abandoned my position in Helldivers 2 to travel to the past and fulfill the wish of many players: defend SuperEarth from the Automata
In iGamesNews | I’ve explored the origins of Helldivers 2 for a few hours and now I understand where this democratic wonder came from
