In Hello Neighbor 2, you’ll once again return to the quirky town of Raven Brooks. This time, however, you won’t be trying to enter the creepy neighbor’s basement to uncover his secrets. The story continues, and instead, you’ll take on the role of journalist Quentin.
Following a series of missing child cases, including that of Nicky Roth (the original protagonist of Hello Neighbor), Quentin travels to Raven Brooks to investigate Mr Peterson (neighbor) further. You’ll need to meet and examine Raven Brooks’ full set of unfamiliar faces, as well as new tools like Quentin’s Hello-copter to help you navigate your new open world.
Pre-orders begin today, with access to the beta with every pre-order. Now, don’t worry – the beta won’t spoil your story. In fact, this isn’t part of the story at all, but rather a playtest of how Hello Neighbor 2 will play out. The beta itself is just a scenario, so pl ayers can experience what tinyBuild Games can expect in December. Did I mention that Hello Neighbor 2 also has four-legged friends for you to investigate?
For the aspiring detectives among us, you can pre-order the game and enter beta testing today on PC, Xbox or PlayStation. Additionally, anyone who orders the Deluxe Edition will get five days early access to Hello Neighbor 2, and will have all-day DLC at launch.
Day one DLC will include late fees, back to school, and Hello-copter. Late Fees and Back to School add two new maps and characters, and more puzzles for budding investigators to solve. Meanwhile, Hello-copter is one of Quentin’s tools, a new game mechanic.
