While we’re still in the middle of July and a lot of new things are expected for Xbox Game Pass, let’s take a look at what’s in store for August 2024. Currently, two games are already confirmed to be joining the service next month, and rumors are promising more possible additions.

The list is not very long, as it currently only includes two names, proof of the meager releases next month. In addition to these confirmations, rumors are circulating about the arrival of at least one Activision Blizzard title and a free trial of EA Play. Creatures of Ava
Available on Xbox Game Pass on day one in August 2024, it’s an action-adventure game that’s about saving, not collecting creatures. The story takes place on the planet Ava, where heroine Vic and her companion Tabitha have crash-landed. The planet’s colorful biomes are threatened by an infection called “Blight.” Players must understand and stop this threat to save local lifeforms.

Aside from the confirmed games, rumors suggest that Activision’s Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy could be added to the service in August. There’s also speculation about the possible arrival of Spyro and Tony Hawk. In addition, a free trial of Madden NFL 25 will launch on August 13th via EA Play. In any case, things are still smelling very good for next month.
It is important to note that the month of July is not over yet and that many games are still expected on Xbox Game Pass. Among them are Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn, Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess, Dungeons Of Hinterberg.
