The Cuphead Show returns this summer with 12 new episodes. Here’s when Season 2 will be available on Netflix and a little preview with the official trailer.

The evening of Friday June 10th will have been rich in announcements for Cuphead fans. Alongside a lengthy presentation of the DLC and its behind-the-scenes look during the Tribeca Games Showcase, Netflix has finally announced a release date for the second season of The Cuphead Show series.

The Cuphead Show in August

Netflix Geeked Week has spoiled fans of manga, pop culture, but also video games. Besides announcing the series Dragon Age Absolution or Castlevania Nocturne, the streaming giant has finally lifted the veil on the second season of The Cuphead Show. This new batch of episodes will finally arrive on Netflix on August 19th. The entire season is available immediately from 9:00 a.m. on the same day. To give players a taste, the SVoD platform has released a first trailer.

It will feature Cuphead and Mugman, who are joined here by Ms. Chalice in a dozen additional episodes, each lasting twelve minutes. The adaptation had managed to create a surprise when it arrived in the catalog, to the point that Netflix ordered 36 episodes based on the hit indie game. We can’t wait to find out what’s next, how about you?
