GTA Remaster Trilogy officially announced
Graphics card with 4 GB of video memory is sufficient
Minimum system requirements:
- Processor: Intel Core i5-2700K / AMD FX-6300
- Graphic card: Nvidia GeForce GTX 760 2,0 GByte / AMD Radeon R9 280 3,0 GByte
- Random access memory: 8,0 GByte
- Storage space: 45,0 GByte
- Operating system: Windows 10
Recommended system requirements:
While 8.0 GB of RAM is recommended for GTA 5, 16.0 GB is recommended for the Remaster Trilogy. The video memory should be 4.0 instead of 2.0 GB.
In terms of the recommended processors, Intel’s Core i5-6600K is enough to have a six-year-old mid-range CPU, but AMD’s should be a Ryzen 5 2600 from 2018. Overall, the system requirements for the remaster trilogy are still manageable.

Why are the system requirements higher than for GTA 5?
From our point of view, the officially unconfirmed system requirements seem to be consistent. The fact that they are higher than for GTA 5 should have a simple technical reason:
Remasters are usually based on the technical framework of the original game, i.e. the original code remains essentially unchanged, mostly only the graphics are improved. If necessary, minor improvements will be made and the game will be revised so that it runs on newer hardware.
However, major optimizations and adjustments to current PC components can usually not or only with difficulty be implemented. Therefore, a lot of performance often falls by the wayside and the system requirements are correspondingly higher than one would expect.
