Guerrilla Games released a pretty big patch Horizon Forbidden West: The Burning Shorewhich contains a highly requested major fix.
The bug in question prevents progression cold, as it won’t let you follow Seyka into the tower during the main questline, To the Burning Shores. Now the target is set, so feel free to follow her. The other four issues of this main questline won’t bother you anymore either.
Elsewhere, issues that were preventing you from completing the side objective Air Capture: North have been resolved, and four different issues with his final op mission have now been resolved.
An upcoming fix will address the main “Pastime for Him” quest. According to the developer, players reported that the game objective “Investigate the Armory” would not progress if restarted from a save while on a mission. Another issue with the questline is that after checking three clues during the investigation of the Armory objective, Seyka may not be able to open the door when scanning the data point access control.
Other known issues that Guerrilla is working on include enemies getting stuck on walls during the In His Wake mission, preventing them from going through objectives. It also noted an issue where a specific figurine could not be collected if the player left the area after opening the trunk it was in.
The patch covers a lot more than we can discuss here, so you’ll want to check out the full patch notes via the game’s official Reddit.
The PS5 exclusive game will be released on April 19.
