Just a month after its release, the highly anticipated Horizon Forbidden West still holds many mysteries. Not sure if the (pretty) trailer of the day really helps us. The pleasure of the eyes remains.
Coincidentally (or not), it was the day after Microsoft announced its surprise acquisition of Activision Blizzard that Sony responded with its big exclusive cartridge from the start of the year: Horizon Forbidden West. This is called a sense of timing.
What’s new on the horizon?
Therefore, for three minutes, players can discover the outlines of the scenario that structures the new adventures of Aloy and her comrades. The heroine of Horizon Forbidden West will obviously not be alone to counter the rebel leader’s plans, as she can count on the support of Varl or Érend.
Narrative director Ben McCawa used this new trailer to clarify his thoughts and recall the official French version of this famous forgotten west:
In the next chapter of Aloy’s story, she will face a tornado of new threats: a plague threatening to destroy the world, Regalla and his rebels, Sylens and his machinations… and many more new dangers.
But when she ventures across the border into the forbidden west, Aloy does not face these dangers alone. She is joined by unknown and familiar companions, from the oldest to new allies like Zo, Alva, and Kotallo.
Horizon Forbidden West will be available on February 18, 2022 for PS4 and PS5.
