Sony has announced the next edition of its “State of Play” video format and will – like last time – again concentrate primarily on an exclusive game. This time the focus is on Horizon: Forbidden West.
The last edition of “State of Play” put Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart in focus and presented new gameplay from the PS5 adventure. The next episode of the video format has now been announced for this week, which will now revolve around Horizon: Forbidden West.
The Horizon sequel will therefore be shown in more detail later this week. The broadcast is scheduled for Thursday, May 27, 2021 at 11:00 p.m. German time; a countdown should start at 6:00 p.m. Whoever wants to watch will be over Twitch or YouTube can do.
Overall, the new “State of Play” should last around 20 minutes. Developer Guerrilla will show brand new in-game action straight from the PS5 for 14 minutes. Horizon: Forbidden West was only announced in June 2020 during a PS5 showcase and has since been considered one of the most promising exclusives for the new console.
The transfer also offers the possibility of announcing a release date, because we are currently waiting for one. So far it is only planned that Horizon: Forbidden West should still be available in 2021. It is quite possible, however, that Sony will save such an announcement for later this summer.
In a new video for the action role-playing game Horizon: Forbidden West for the PlayStation 5, the developers comment on some features of the game.
