Horizon Forbidden West has finally been available for the PC since March 21, 2024 – including the Burning Shores add-on as a complete edition. And the wait for the previously PlayStation-exclusive open-world game was worth it, because the porting studio Nixxes Software delivers a brilliant performance here. Great graphics meet impressive optimization and tons of options in the PC version of Horizon 2. Horizon Forbidden West noticeably overshadows the PlayStation original and delivers the best gaming experience on the PC, whether with a gamepad or with a mouse and keyboard. We can only hope that future PS5 ports also achieve this quality.
