PlayStation France is about to launch a major artistic initiative and set up a pop-up art gallery dedicated to the highly anticipated Horizon: Forbidden West, within the metro network in three major French cities.
With these exhibitions that will take place from February 18 to March 3, 2022PlayStation France accompanies the release of the second opus of the Horizon license in an unusual way, since very soon subway users in the cities of Paris, Lille and Marseille will have an art gallery dedicated to the saga with Aloy, the red-haired warrior fighting with terrible machines .

Located in the heart of the Rond-Point du Prado station on line 2, the art gallery allows you to admire the works of simply g, an artist based in Athens who studied at the National School of Fine Arts in Greece. He has exhibited his creations in his country of origin but also internationally, notably in France in 2018. Simple G has been creating “street art” murals in photorealistic style since the end of 2009, which he makes in particular on spray , freehand.

This time, go to Lille, in the corridor of Lille Flandres train station, to discover the productions of WD Wild drawing (Wild drawing for Dessin Sauvage), also a specialist in street art. Originally from Bali in Indonesia, he studied at a School of Fine Arts. During his studies in 2000, he started doing street art and founded the Pojok collective with other students, whose project is to exercise their talents in public space. A Fine and Applied Arts graduate living in Athens since 2006, WD uses a variety of techniques but specializes in roller and aerosol ones. The frescoes he created can be seen in Europe, North America and Asia.
A brief tour of the capital’s metro system
In the Paris metro, on the platform of the Gare Saint-Lazare station of line 3, we find the works of several artists who are Oskunk, Picanoa, Chek, Star97, Fleur Blume and Kan. Oskunk is an illustrator and customizer who explains to French artists that he finds a great source of inspiration in the world of video games, manga, comics and graffiti. Pikanoa describes herself as passionate about creating art and states that she has evolved in the world of video games and pop culture since she was a young child. Chek specializes in graffiti, as does Star 97, who also specializes in the art of mural painting. Fleur Blume uses different media: canvas, murals, engravings, she often uses monochrome tones. Finally, Kan, a French-born artist, combines his passion for computers, video and design with traditional graffiti techniques. Kan specifically practices pixel art.
The variety of styles of the artists chosen to put their talent at the service of the Horizon license promises impressive ephemeral art galleries, a beautiful highlight of the new episode Horizon: Forbidden West, due out on our consoles on February 18th .
