Sony has a lot planned for 2024: The PlayStation 5 is getting new gaming talent. You can see a fraction of the line-up in the two-minute trailer. There’s something for pretty much every known taste: Final Fantasy 7: Rebirth, Tekken 8, Like A Dragon, Prince of Persia, Forever Skies, The Last of Us 2 Remastered… to name just a few.

Rising Lords combines ideas from board and card games: you rule as a lord, use your serfs to your advantage and fight battles against other rulers. To finance the war, you collect taxes and exploit resources. Politics and intrigue also play a role.

Good times for users who would rather play PlayStation hits on the PC: Sony has been breaking the previous practice of platform exclusivity for years. An approaching PS5 blockbuster is Horizon Forbidden West, which is scheduled to appear for home computers sometime in early 2024.
In the trailer, Sony focuses on the graphical advantages that PC gamers get with current Geforce graphics cards. Specifically, support for DLSS 3 for improved performance, DLAA for higher image quality and Nvidia Reflex to reduce input lag. But even if you’re not a technology nerd, the graphically appealing images in the trailer can keep you entertained.
