For the comic series, developer Guerilla Games has teamed up with Titan Comics. Game author Anne Toole and artist Ann Maulina are working on it. The comics are intended to depict the events after Aloy's adventures in the game.
The main character of the series is the young hunter Talanah Khane Padish, who appeared in the video game in the Hunter's Lodge storyline. After Aloy's disappearance, Talanah encounters a new kind of mechanical being in the search for the meaning of life.
The comic series will be available in comic stores and digitally on July 22nd. The first issue features cover art by Stanley “Artgerm” Lau, Loish, Peach Momoko (Captain Marvel, Black Widow). A prequel edition should be published on the Free Comic Book Day 2020, which however fell victim to the Corona virus.
The original and beautiful Horizon Zero Dawn was able to clear away on Playstation 4 (test on the game world) and is now due to appear on the PC in summer 2020.
