Horizon Zero Dawn will be released for PC in summer 2020. This ends the Sony exclusivity of the PS4 game from the developers of Guerilla Games – which one or the other Playstation player obviously has a serious problem with.
PS4 players react to PC announcement with a lot of criticism
Various users criticized the official announcement on Twitter after the indications of a PC port from Horizon Zero Dawn condensed in recent months. In the meantime there are some comments too hateful hostility to the developers
In the course of a particularly blatant reaction a player shows his destroyed gaming equipmenton which he may have let out all his anger in response to the announcement. "Thank you for nothing" – he writes among other things Sony, Guerrilla games and even to the Head of Playstation Worldwide Hermen Hulst and Sony president Shuhei Yoshida personally.
Great way to spend my birthday. Thanks for f * cking nothing @PlayStation @Guerrilla @hermenhulst @yosp decades thrown away and now it was all for nothing https://t.co/skN2v9jHge pic.twitter.com/lCBWDEf9sq

Guerrilla Games stunned by massive criticism
This and similar articles do not go unnoticed by guerrilla games. Sam Sharma, former producer of the developer studio behind Horizon Zero Dawn, was forced to make an official statement on the debate in the wake of the turmoil.
Sharma is "stunned" that fans of her titles are upset that Horizon Zero Dawn could gain a new player base with a PC port. He exhorts video gamers to be considerate of themselves and that your enjoyment is definitely not diminished when more people enjoy a certain title:
"What the hell is going on with you guys. We have developed a game that you enjoyed. Now more players get the chance to enjoy it as well. And for some reason it breaks your own enjoyment of it ?
Please be at peace with yourself. Your enjoyment of the game is not diminished by giving more video players the chance to play it too. "
What the hell is wrong with you people.
We made a game, you enjoyed it. Now some more people get to enjoy it. And somehow that takes away from YOUR enjoyment ?!
Please be kind to yourselves. Your enjoyment of the game has not diminished because some more people get to play it. https://t.co/UrJXniLBYI

Sam Sharma later added a second message and believes that the immediate response to the Horizon Zero Dawn PC announcement is a cry for help.
I want to believe this is a cry for help.

In the meantime, however, is circulating not just hate on Twitter: For example, the video creator of the destroyed gaming equipment AP announced itself that after its violent reaction to the announcement of Horizon Zero Dawn for the PC, other users asked about it and its well-being and even offered help:
Good morning everyone. I've been reading some DM’s and tweets during these last few hours and I want to say thank you to those who legitimately are helping me out when it comes to the transition towards PC. I also want to say thank you to those who are wondering about me.
