The PlayStation hit Horizon: Zero Dawn is apparently getting a remaster for PC and PlayStation 5; one has now apparently been leaked.
Fans of the Horizon franchise from Sony can apparently look forward to a new edition of the first part. A remaster is on the way for PlayStation 5 and PC; this seems to be confirmed by a rather unusual source.
Because: The ESRB has given a new age rating “T for Teen” – for the as yet unofficially announced title Horizon: Zero Dawn Remastered. The new edition has therefore received the same age rating and the same description from the authority as the original game.
Rumors of a remaster of the action hit, which was originally released for the PlayStation 4, have been circulating since the beginning of 2023 – now they seem to be confirmed, even if the official announcement is still missing. One could be on the way in September, as rumors say there will be a PlayStation State of Play this month, after the PS5 Pro was previously announced.
The original game is already playable on PS5 and PC, but has not received any special optimizations for the newer Sony console. That could change with the remaster, although additional features on the PS5 Pro are also conceivable. We will of course keep you updated on this rumor!
